- It’s too long. Keep it under 25 minutes unless there’s a very good reason to go longer.
- They can’t hear. If needed for everyone to hear – secure a mic for officiant and couple.

- Awkward pauses or confusion. A smooth flow keeps guests engaged.
- They’re uncomfortable. Offer shade, fans, or water for outdoor ceremonies.
