I had the pleasure of officiating a wedding at Ravenswood Mansion in Brentwood yesterday. This historic 1825 mansion, surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful grounds, is one of the most elegant and timeless venues in the Nashville area—a perfect backdrop for a classic Southern wedding.
For late August especially, it was an incredibly beautiful day. – warm enough but not too warm and a nice gentle breeze blowing through.
Penny Haas was the planner/director and she did a fabulous job. She had the wedding party all lined and ready to walk in at the start time….unlike some I see that wait until it’s time to start before even thinking about getting the wedding party in place. As an officiant, I appreciate her professionalism, answering all my questions, and getting the license in my hand before the start of the ceremony.
