I’ve officiated thousands of weddings across Tennessee, and I’ve seen firsthand how easy it is to get confused by the different requirements from county to county. That’s why I always tell couples:

Contact the county clerk directly in the county where you’re getting your license.
That’s the only way to be sure you have the most accurate, up-to-date information.
