This morning I officiated an elopement ceremony at Drakewood Farm which is just outside of Nashville. It was a gorgeous morning with blue skies and not a cloud in sight. The temp was in the 70’s. It’s the kind of weather couples dream of when they are planning a fall wedding in middle Tennessee. The couple wrote their own vows and also chose the Ring Warming Ceremony (see the text below). Hope you enjoy some shots I took in the video below:
The Ring Warming Ceremony: Today, the couple wanted to add a special touch to their ring exchange. Before it reaches their hands, _________ and ________ wanted to allow all of their family and friends the opportunity to pass their love through a ring warming ceremony. We ask that as you hold the ring, you silently share your blessings, prayers, and positive vibes over their marriage. These rings are starting out as cold pieces of metal, but will return warmed with your love. Love that ________ and ________ will carry with them through their journey together.
________ and _______, please get us started.
