Tag: Nashville elopement locations
I often get calls from couples looking for places to elope in and around Nashville. Here are some ideas I’ve passed along.
For a very small, quick simple elopement with maybe a handful of guests, the park option can be free. To officially reserve a spot you will have to pay a fee.
The Sunken Garden at Centennial Park – off West End in the Vanderbilt area. In case of rain, you can stand on the steps of the Parthenon.
Allee at Warner Parks – In addition to the allee/hillside at the Belle Meade Blvd entrance to the park, there are a number of spots you can choose in either Edwin Warner or Percy Warner Parks.
Pedestrian Bridge – get married on the bridge overlooking downtown Nashville
A restaurant can be an excellent idea especially if you plan to feed your wedding guests anyway. Many restaurants will not charge for use of a room for the ceremony but have a food minimum.
Mere Bulles in Brentwood – Reports I’ve heard the food is excellent. They have a few different rooms to choose from depending on your ceremony size.
Loveless Cafe– Country cooking and world famous biscuits. There is the Loveless Barn for big weddings, but also a smaller “Harpeth Room at the Loveless Café” for groups from 20 to 75.
Wedding Venues with Elopement Packages
These are very nice wedding venues that host many big weddings each year but also offer elopement packages.
Owen Chapel Church in Brentwood – Historic church built in 1867 located in scenic area just off I-65. Very reasonablly priced. Call Margaret at 615-377-6474 for information.
Skinner Chapel – Located on the beautiful campus of Scarritt-Bennett near Vanderbilt. Seats about 20 and you don’t have to worry about weather.
